The practicalities of beauty are covered as we offer tanning, state of the art hair removal techniques including IPL, skin analysis, product packages and tinting. But it's the generous facial treatments, relaxing manicures, pedicures and all over body pampering that we are renowned for. Our beauty therapists are experts in pampering and are sensitive and attentive enough to tailor your treatment to your individual needs.

We also offer special occasion make up application, family skin care consulting, ear piercing and for the person who deserves a bit of luxury our gift certificates are perfect.

Phoebe Bawden

Owner/Operator

Originally from the Hawkesbury, Phoebe moved to Sydney to study for her Diploma in Beauty Therapy at Ella Bache. For the next eight years she worked in salons in Chatswood and Artarmon before returning again to Kurmond. After managing Indulgence at Kurmond Phoebe was then given the opportunity take over ownership in 2007.

Keeping up to date with the latest breakthroughs and innovations in skin care, Phoebe has extensive knowledge in skin analysis, care and treatment with comprehensive experience in tailoring skin care regimes and product recommendations to many satisfied clientele.

As a Member of the AABTh Australian Academy of Beauty Therapy and gaining her Diploma of Beauty Therapy and CIDESCO qualifications in the year of 2000, Phoebe has over 12 years experience of providing luxurious beauty services to her clients. Her skills and expertise are constantly being updated with the latest research and development from top beauty product and service providers.

Michelle has over 6 years experience in the beauty industry. With a passion for make up, skin analysis, eyebrow reshaping and more, Michelle is excited to share with you her wealth of beauty knowledge and expertise.

Melissa Vaughan

IPL Technician

Melissa Vaughan is a familiar face at Indulgence at Kurmond, being the original owner of the salon, Mel has 20 years experience in the beauty and paramedical industry. The past 10 years have been dedicated to IPL and laser treatment serving salons throughout NSW. Melissa has undergone extensive training including a Diploma in Beauty, a Paramedical Certificate, Advanced Training with Incision Medical and has completed Radiation Health and IPL training through University of Queensland. Melissa is also a member of the World Association on Laser Treatment (WALT).

Dr Sarah Baran MBBS (Hons)

Cosmetic Physician

Upon completing her medical degree with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2000, Sarah continued with her medical internship and residency at St Vincents hospital in Sydney. She soon took a keen interest in the exciting and growing field of cosmetic medicine.

It was at this time that botox injections and dermal fillers were becoming more embraced by the general public as more and more people realised that these procedures were effective, yet minimally invasive with surprisingly few and rare side effects.

Sarah’s in depth knowledge of the functions and dynamics of facial anatomy combined with her artistic eye and sense of moderation resulted in her clientele growing exponentially over the last 7 years.

She now practises at many locations around Sydney, at both medical clinics and beauty salons.

As a woman, a mum and a wife, Sarah has the right ideas to suit every client’s unique requirements from subtle to glamorous. Dr Baran looks forward to having a consultation with you and showing you the wonders that can be achieved with just a few small injections.
